Procrastinators can change their behavior. The difficulty is that it is an unpleasant task and this is exactly the thing that procrastinators are not good at completing. However, with hard work and some guidance on how to accomplish it a procrastinator can learn to live a different kind of life.
Identify your personal procrastination patterns. Being willing to look at the problem and honestly examine your own behavior is the first step towards changing it. Being aware that you are procrastinating usually starts the process. Then examine why you are procrastinating. Understanding your motivations better enables you to address them directly.
